CURRICULUM VITAE

Jess Kennard, MA, LMHC, ATR-P is an expressive eco-arts therapist and facilitator who is passionate about weaving together creativity, identity, and spirituality. They have been imagining and creating ever since they can recall. Jess has devoted their fine arts education to fiber arts, ceramics, and printmaking. Their formal education in psychology has included art therapy, ecotherapy, sandtray therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, and motivational interviewing. Informally, Jess has studied permaculture and plant medicine, ritual and ceremony, dance and movement, and dream work. Their professional experience over the past two and a half decades has included harm-reduction outreach, community health, LQBTQ+ peer support, sex-positive education, ayurvedic therapies, community arts facilitation, eating disorder treatment, and “trauma-responsive” art therapy.

Jess is professionally supervised by Dr. Deborah Good, PhD, ATR-BC, ATCS, LPAT, LPCC.
